Air China will launch a new route from Urumqi to Moscow/Sheremetyevo on September 5.
The route will be operated three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Currently, there are no direct flights between Japan and Moscow, and it is common to transit through China or Middle Eastern countries. It is stated that access is available by utilizing the Beijing/Capital to Urumqi route from various cities in Japan.
