J-CAS Airways has raised 300 million yen through a third-party allotment capital increase.
This marks the first close of the Pre-Series A Round, bringing the total raised to date to approximately 450 million yen.
Subscribers are companies from Toyama Prefecture, including Ise, Ohtaka Construction, Kanemori Industry, Isaac, Shimada Shouten, Jec Management Consultant, Baron, Sakura Paxx, GRN, Tachi Construction, Hokuriku Coca-Cola Bottling, and Horii Ironworks. The company also plans to raise funds from companies in the San’in region in the future.
J-CAS Airways was established in June 2023 and is preparing for the inauguration of flights from Osaka/Kansai to Toyama and Yonago in the spring of 2026. The initial year of operation will see one aircraft servicing two routes, with plans to expand to a fleet of seven aircraft servicing 16 routes over the next five years.
