The Centara Grand Hotel Osaka will be offering an ‘Autumn Afternoon Tea ~Harvest of Autumn Flavors~’ from September 5th to October 31st.
The sweets include a variety of ten different selections such as the ‘Chestnut Mousse’ inspired by the beautiful night sky illuminated by the moon and stars, and the ‘Purple Sweet Potato Mont Blanc’ that represents the night sky with brightly colored purple sweet potato Mont Blanc cream and chocolate bats flying across. For the savory options, there’s ‘Seafood Pickles’ served in a clamshell with salmon roe and seafood paired with a tomato gelée, ‘Smoked Salmon’ with a light smoky flavor enhanced by a myoga (Japanese ginger) paste, and a ‘Mushroom Tart’ filled with quinoa and generously topped with sautéed mushrooms. Also available are two types of scones: the ‘Beni Haruka Sweet Potato Scone’ incorporating the Beni Haruka variety of sweet potato into the dough, and the ‘Plain Scone’.
The venue is “Smoke & Spin” on the 33rd floor. It’s available in three time slots: 11 AM, 1:30 PM, and 4 PM. The price is 6,800 yen (tax and service charge included).
