Rakuten Group, through its travel booking site “Rakuten Travel”, has signed a publicity and promotion sponsorship agreement for the Osaka-Kansai Expo.
As a Silver Partner, Rakuten Travel will use its accommodation reservation service and media on its platform to work on generating enthusiasm for the Expo and promoting attendance.
A special page introducing basic information about the Expo and its highlights has been launched. It will utilize a site available in eight languages targeting foreign visitors to Japan, to convey its attractions. Special accommodation plans in cooperation with lodging facilities will also be offered.
