British Airways Resumes Flights from London Gatwick to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi After Nearly 4 Years
Thai AirAsia X to Launch Bangkok/Don Mueang – Sydney Route Starting December 1 with Six Flights Weekly
Thai AirAsia X will launch its Bangkok/Don Mueang to Sydney route on December 1.
The airline plans to operate six round trips a week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. There will be two round trips on Tuesdays from Bangkok/Don Mueang and on Fridays from Sydney. The flight duration is 9 hours and 35 minutes from Bangkok/Don Mueang, and 9 hours and 55 minutes from Sydney.
This follows the suspension of its Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi to Sydney route since July 31, as part of aircraft management and a shift of its operational base. The airline has increased the frequency to two round trips per week in line with the resumption of service.
Thai AirAsia X currently operates eight Airbus A330 aircraft, aiming to expand its fleet to 11 by the end of the year and plans to add three to five more aircraft annually. The airline serves seven cities, including Sapporo/Chitose, Tokyo/Narita, Nagoya/Chubu, Osaka/Kansai, Seoul/Incheon, and Shanghai/Pudong.
