Nagoya’s Popular Kishimen Specialty Store ‘Eki Kama Kishimen’ Expands to Tokyo, Opening a Limited-Time Store in Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C.
JR Tokai Food Service will open the popular kishimen specialty store ‘Eki Kama Kishimen’, located at Nagoya Station, in the basement 1st floor of the new building of Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C. for a limited time starting from October 1.
‘Eki Kama Kishimen’ is a kishimen noodles shop located on the Nagoya Station concourse. It uses kishimen noodles made by the long-established Yoshida Men-Gyo, founded in 1890, without any preservatives or artificial additives, only using carefully selected domestic wheat flour and salt. It is characterized by its chewy texture and smooth throat feel, served freshly boiled. This marks its first store in Tokyo.
Exclusively for Tokyo, the store will offer ‘Tofu and Colorful Vegetable Salad Kishimen’ (1,200 yen) and ‘Nagoya Cochin Kishimen’ (1,500 yen), along with the standard ‘Kishimen’ (950 yen), and from 5 PM, a ‘Night Kishimen Set’ (1,250 yen) which comes with kishimen and a choice of mini-donburi.
From October 1 to 3, to celebrate the opening, customers using either dine-in or takeaway will receive a ‘souvenir kishimen for one’ as a gift.
The store operates from 10 AM to 8 PM, with last orders at 7:30 PM. Takeout starts from 10:30 AM. There are 12 seats available.
