EASA Advises Against Flying in Iranian Airspace
The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the European Commission (EC) have issued a Conflict Zone Information Bulletin (CZIB) concerning Iranian airspace.
They recommend against all flight operations in Iranian airspace at all flight levels following Iran’s attack on Israel on October 1st and Israel’s declared intention to retaliate. The advisory is effective until October 31st, with the possibility of an early amendment or withdrawal.
The CZIB was also issued for Israel and Lebanon on September 28th.
