Hotel Okura Kyoto will be selling ‘Halloween Sweets 2024’ from October 1 to October 31.
For Halloween, they are offering both take-out sweets and eat-in sweet plates.
The take-out sweets menu includes the classic custard pudding with a touch of vanilla in a ‘Black Cat’ theme, a ‘Ghost’ chocolate pudding with a gentle sweetness, Basque cheesecake, ‘Jack-o’-Lantern’ Mont Blanc wrapped with pumpkin cream containing pumpkin and cheese Shiboust, ‘Mochi Mochi Ghost’ enclosing red bean cream with maple jam and pear mousse wrapped in mochi, and ‘Twin Monster’ cake filled with raspberry jam and ganache, adorned with a pistachio mousse monster. All items are priced at 780 Yen (tax included). For eat-in only, a cake set including coffee or tea is available for 2,000 Yen (including tax and service charge).
The sweet plate for eat-in includes a ‘Chocolate Ice Cream with Berry Sauce Glass Dessert’, and ‘Black Sesame Paste Daifuku on a Cassata Cookie Sandwich’, among other ghost-themed sweets, all served on one plate. The price is 3,000 Yen (including tax and service charge), with coffee or tea included.
