Thai AirAsia X Moves Its Hub to Don Mueang Airport
Thai AirAsia X has relocated its hub to Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok as of October 1.
Don Mueang Airport serves as the main base for Thai AirAsia, which operates routes within the ASEAN region. Thai AirAsia X flies to Sapporo/Chitose, Tokyo/Narita, Nagoya/Chubu, Osaka/Kansai, Seoul/Incheon, and Shanghai/Pudong. The combined market share of both airlines in Thailand exceeds 40%.
On the same day, a welcome ceremony for passengers arriving on flight XJ761 from Shanghai/Pudong was held. Check-in counters 6 and 7 are used, and boarding procedures start 3 hours before the departure time.
Meanwhile, Thai AirAsia’s Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi-Chiang Mai, Phuket, Krabi, and Hat Yai routes will continue operating from Suvarnabhumi International Airport.
