Sukesan Udon Opens a Pop-up Restaurant in Tokyo for a Limited Time: July 13 to 15
Shi-san is set to open “Shi-san Udon” in Yachiyo, Chiba Prefecture this winter.
“Shi-san Udon”, established in 1976, is an udon noodle chain originating from Kitakyushu. It operates 72 stores across all seven prefectures of Kyushu, as well as in Yamaguchi, Okayama, Osaka, and Hyogo prefectures. The new outlet in Chiba marks the chain’s first foray into the Kanto region as a permanent establishment. There are plans to open its inaugural Tokyo location in Ryogoku in 2025.
In addition to running a temporary pop-up restaurant in Kanda from July 13th to 15th, it was announced in September that Skylark Holdings had acquired the chain.
