Seibu Railway Introduces ‘Toreluna’, a Free Sanitary Pad Service, at Tokorozawa and Ikebukuro Stations
Seibu Railway and Necueno are set to sequentially install the ‘Toreluna’ free sanitary pad service at Tokorozawa and Ikebukuro stations from September 20.
By downloading the smartphone app ‘toreluna’ for free and scanning the QR code displayed on the lower right of the dispenser installed in a private stall, users can receive one sanitary pad. The service is available in two locations within Tokorozawa station – the central and south tickets gates’ women’s restrooms with 16 stalls, and at one location in Ikebukuro station’s basement women’s restroom with 10 stalls.
After receiving a sanitary pad, a two-hour lock is applied, and there is a limit of receiving up to 7 pads per month. Stickers are attached to the stalls where the dispensers are installed.
