Marriott International, in collaboration with JR Tokai, JR Tokai Real Estate, and JR Tokai Hotels, will open the Courtyard by Marriott Kyoto Shijo Karasuma in the summer of 2025.
The hotel, formerly known as The Royal Park Hotel Kyoto Shijo, will be renovated and operated by JR Tokai Hotels. The building will have nine floors above ground and one underground, featuring a total of 125 guest rooms. The facility will include all-day dining options and a fitness center.
Access is conveniently located a one-minute walk from Shijo Station on the Kyoto Municipal Subway Karasuma Line and approximately 45 minutes by car from Itami Airport.
