Panstar Group Holds Launching Ceremony for New Ship ‘Panstar Miracle’, Aiming for Service Start Next Spring
Panstar Group has conducted the launching ceremony for the new Panstar Cruise Ferry ship, ‘Panstar Miracle’, on October 10th at Daesun Shipbuilding & Engineering in Busan.
The Panstar Miracle has a gross tonnage of 22,000 tons, a length of 171 meters, and a beam of 25.4 meters. It has a total of 102 passenger rooms, accommodating up to 355 passengers. In addition to being able to carry 254 twenty-foot containers, it can also operate as a car ferry.
The ship features luxury amenities including ocean view cabins with balconies, an outdoor pool, a jogging track, a VIP lounge, a massage room, a therapy room, a sauna, a fitness center, and a duty-free shop.
It will replace the existing ship on the Osaka-Busan route, with plans to start service in April 2025 to coincide with the Osaka-Kansai Expo, and reservations are expected to begin soon.
