Emirates has resumed operations on its Dubai to Lagos route from October 1.
The airline will operate one round trip per day. The flights will use Boeing 777-300ER aircraft equipped with 8 First Class suites, 42 Business Class seats, and 304 Economy Class seats. The flight duration from Dubai is 8 hours and 35 minutes, and from Lagos, it is 8 hours and 40 minutes.
The route is popular among Nigerians and offers connections to over 140 cities via Dubai. Adnan Kazim, the Vice President, expressed gratitude towards the Nigerian government for their support in resuming flights.
In 2022, Nigeria faced challenges such as a jet fuel shortage impacting domestic flights, and issues with Emirates’ funds being frozen by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Emirates offers visa application support for 48 or 96 hours for travelers from Nigeria, and has reinstated Skywards members’ tier levels.
