The Westin Miyako Kyoto will hold a ‘Kyoto Delicacies Buffet’ for a limited time from November 1st to November 30th.
The menu includes ‘Seared Bonito with Yuzu Flavored Dressing,’ ‘Kyoto Steamed Sushi,’ ‘Hotel Original Pickles from Doi Shibazuke Hompo,’ ‘Kyoto Tanba Highland Pork Loin in Dashi Shabu with White Miso,’ ‘Corned Beef with Truffle Flavored Dressing,’ ‘Seared Salad of True Pufferfish,’ ‘Eel and Matsutake Mushroom Nanzenji Steam’ and others. It features seasonal ingredients such as sweet potatoes, chestnuts, and varieties of mushrooms, as well as Kyoto-grown ingredients. Desserts include ‘Pumpkin Cheesecake,’ ‘Hazelnut and Caramel Financier,’ and ‘Chestnut Pound Cake.’ The menu varies slightly between lunch and dinner.
The venue is the All-Day Dining “Rakusora” on the 2nd floor. The service hours on weekends and holidays are in two parts: lunch is from 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM, and dinner is from 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM, with different hours on weekdays. The price for lunch is 6,000 yen, and dinner starts from 8,000 yen, including the price for one elementary school child with each adult (free for preschool children, tax and service charge included).
