Hotel New Otani Tokyo is offering its “New Afternoon Tea Set – Chestnuts and Grapes” until November 30th.
The top tier includes five varieties such as the “Super Melon Shortcake” using Shizuoka Prefecture’s premium muskmelons with a sweetness of over 14 degrees, and the “Super Mont Blanc” which enhances the taste of Japanese chestnuts even further. The middle tier features six types including the ever-popular “Basque Cheesecake” and the autumn limited “Chestnut Macaroon”, while the bottom tier fills three varieties with seasonal fresh fruits in the “Seasonal Special Fruit Sandwich”. An assortment of teas is provided, including Darjeeling, Assam, Nilgiri, Earl Grey, and herbal teas.
The venue is the Tea & Cocktail “Garden Lounge”, with a 2-hour session starting from 3:15 PM. The price is 8,000 yen, excluding service charges. Web reservations are required at least two days in advance.
