Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines Implement Code-Share Agreement
Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines have begun code-sharing operations.
For routes connecting various airports in Hawaii with cities on the US mainland operated by both companies, flight numbers are mutually assigned. Additionally, Hawaiian Airlines’ flight numbers have been assigned to routes connecting cities on the US West Coast and in the Americas operated by Alaska Airlines.
Alaska Air Group has completed the acquisition of Hawaiian Holdings, and has started offering the functionality for transferring miles between both companies’ mileage accounts, implementing status matches for elite members between the two companies, and enabling mutual flight bookings.
