The Rihga Royal Hotel Osaka is set to undergo a complete renovation in preparation for its spring 2025 reopening as the ‘Rihga Royal Hotel Osaka Vignette Collection.’
The guest rooms will be redesigned around the concept of ‘merging traditional beauty with water,’ creating a space inspired by the floating ‘Nakanoshima’ island. The rooms will feature a royal green color scheme and incorporate Western classic styles in the moldings and fittings, which will be preserved and repaired. Additionally, the headboards will be adorned with calligraphy that captures the essence of water. In the elevator hall and the corridors of the guest room floors, metal artworks inspired by the rivers of Nakanoshima and the reflections of the moon and light on the water will be installed.
Sales of the renovated floors will begin sequentially, and the approximately 1,000 rooms will be renovated over the course of about a year.
