Nagoya Railway to Sell ‘Okazaki Sweets Ticket’ Starting November 1
Nagoya Railway will be selling the ‘Okazaki Sweets Ticket’ from November 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025.
This ticket is a tie-up project with Okazaki City, allowing you to enjoy sweets at eateries and street food outlets throughout the city. Besides a round-trip discount ticket for Meitetsu trains, it includes two ‘snack walk tickets’ worth 300 yen each, which can be used at 20 participating stores in Okazaki City, as well as discount coupons for attractions such as Okazaki Castle and the Mikawa Bushi and Tokugawa Ieyasu Mansion.
For example, pricing from Meitetsu Gifu and Inuyama stations is 2,980 yen for adults and 1,790 yen for children, from Meitetsu Nagoya Station it’s 1,950 yen for adults and 1,290 yen for children, and from Toyohashi Station it’s 1,740 yen for adults and 1,180 yen for children. The option to purchase an ‘Okazaki 1DAY Free Ticket,’ which allows unlimited bus rides within the Okazaki area for the day, is available, with the exception of December 29, 2024, to January 3, 2025, which are blackout dates.
