Shangri-La Tokyo is offering ‘Strawberry Afternoon Tea’ from December 26 to January 31, 2025.
Desserts include ‘Strawberry Millefeuille’ with custard, almond cream, and pistachio flavor on a pie crust topped with strawberry jelly, ‘Strawberry Chocolate’ topped with strawberry ganache on a bitter gateau chocolate base with praline feuillantine hidden inside, and ‘Raspberry Rhubarb Cheesecake’—a baked cheesecake encasing raspberry and rhubarb jam and coated in raspberry chocolate. For savories, there’s a ‘Champagne Mousse and Scallop with Strawberry Consommé Jelly’, ‘Prosciutto and Mozzarella with Strawberry Salsa Sauce Cheese Tuile’—mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto with a strawberry salsa sauce, and ‘Smoked Salmon and Tofu Spring Roll’ where the strawberry can be seen through the rice paper.
