Hotel New Otani Hakata is hosting a seasonal Shanghai Crab Fair until late November.
Two courses are available: the “Shanghai Crab Course” and the “Ultimate Shanghai Crab Course.” The Shanghai Crab Course (22,000 yen per person) includes a “Cold Dish Assortment,” “Sautéed Crab Miso with Shrimp and Scallops,” “Crab Miso and Shark Fin Spring Rolls,” “Chef Xu’s Special Shanghai Crab Dim Sum (two types),” “Steamed Whole Shanghai Crab,” “Shanghai Crab with Black Pork Meatballs,” and a “Special Dessert.” The Ultimate Shanghai Crab Course (36,000 yen per person) offers a “Colorful Cold Appetizer Assortment,” “Crab Miso Shark Fin Soup,” “Sautéed Three Treasures and Crab Miso,” “Chef Xu’s Special Shanghai Crab Dim Sum (two types),” “Steamed Whole Shanghai Crab Luxurious Male and Female Comparison,” “Crab Miso and Napa Cabbage Thick Soup Noodles,” and an “Assorted Dessert”.
Additionally, à la carte items such as “Crab Miso and Napa Cabbage Thick Soup Noodles” (2,800 yen), “Crab Miso Stuffed Shell Grilled with Three Types of Crab Meat” (3,300 yen), and “Crab Miso and Shark Fin Spring Rolls” (550 yen per roll) are also available for purchase.
The venue is the Chinese restaurant “Daikanen”. Lunch service is from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM, and dinner is from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. All prices include tax and service charges.
