H.I.S. Hotel Holdings to Rebrand and Open ‘Weird Resort & Spa Kansai Airport’ on November 1
H.I.S. Hotel Holdings will rebrand and open ‘Weird Resort & Spa Kansai Airport’ on November 1.
This is the first store of ‘Weird Resort & Spa’ which includes a bathhouse facility and is located in the resort area. The front desk is manned by a dinosaur robot, and the hotel offers 98 rooms in total including twin rooms with a view of Osaka Bay. It is adjacent to the large natural hot spring facility ‘Natural Hot Spring Senshu no Yu Kansai Airport (former Aqua Ignis Kansai Airport Senshu Hot Springs)’, which guests can use for free anytime during their stay. Both the open-air and indoor baths offer a sweeping view of Osaka Bay, and the facility is equipped with a men’s dry sauna and a women’s mist sauna. Inside the hotel, there’s a Japanese restaurant ‘Aoi-an’ that specializes in seafood from Osaka Bay, a cafe serving drinks and sweets, a gift shop stocking local Osaka souvenirs, a sports gym that accepts monthly memberships and is open to visitors, and Trampoline Land for kids. A new facility with spaces for camping car stays is currently under construction.
To celebrate the rebranding, they will offer a ‘Peach Collaboration Room’ in collaboration with Peach Aviation from November 1. The guest rooms are decorated with airplane motifs and exhibits, including jet engine fan blades. Guests will receive a collaborative original towel as a gift.
Rates start from ¥21,300 per room with breakfast included, and ¥19,800 for room only (tax and service charge included).
