View Card is revamping its ‘Basic Series’ of View Cards and will start issuing them from November 15th.
The design is simple and stylish, with all card information such as card numbers consolidated on the back, eliminating the signature panel.
With this renewal, the card names are being changed; the ‘View Suica’ card will become the ‘View Card Standard’ (annual fee ¥524), and the ‘View Gold Plus Card’ will become the ‘View Card Gold’ (annual fee ¥11,000). The Gold Card will now also offer the option of a Visa brand.
For those who already have a card, a new design update card will be issued sequentially around the beginning of the expiry month from December onwards. The ‘View Card Standard’ and ‘View Card Gold’ with an attached Suica season ticket will continue to be issued as update cards.
