Following the integration of all inns, bathing facilities, and theme parks under the “Oedo Onsen Monogatari Group” brand, this renewal came to fruition. The front desk, lobby, and public spaces have been renovated to introduced new amenities such as the “Premium Lounge” where various soft drinks and alcoholic beverages can be enjoyed for free, a reading space integrated with a bookshelf called “Sugomori Manga Corner”, and a “Kids Park”.
The creative buffet features sirloin steak, hot spring steamed dishes, desserts, all-you-can-drink soft drinks, and during dinner, a live kitchen where guests can watch the chef’s cooking show. Local specialties using Ena chicken, known for its firm meat texture, such as “Chicken Chan-yaki” and Hida Takayama Ramen with Japanese dashi soy soup are also available.
Access is about an hour drive from the Nakatsugawa Interchange (IC). Direct round-trip buses from Nagoya, Kyoto, and Shin-Osaka stations to the inn are also planned.
