Skymark Delays Delivery of Boeing 737-8 Aircraft to Q4 2025 or Later
Skymark has revised the delivery schedule for its Boeing 737-8 aircraft, now pushing the timeframe to the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2025 (January to March 2026) or later.
The change affects six aircraft that are being introduced through leasing. Initially, the company had planned to start receiving these aircraft from the first quarter of fiscal year 2025, but had already announced a delay to the second quarter of fiscal year 2025 in May of this year. For the three aircraft that are being directly purchased, the company schedules their delivery in fiscal year 2026.
With the introduction of these new models, there is a plan to proceed with replacing the current Boeing 737-800 aircraft, planning to introduce six aircraft per year. Consequently, by the end of fiscal year 2025, the fleet is expected to expand to up to 31 aircraft, and then to 33 aircraft in fiscal year 2026 and beyond.
