ANA’s 767-300BCF ‘JA8323’ Departs Japan, Leaving Only One Aircraft in the JA8000 Series
All Nippon Airways’ (ANA) Boeing 767-300BCF (registration number: JA8323) departed from Haneda Airport for Anchorage, USA, on November 12, as part of its sale.
The 767-300BCF is a dedicated freighter converted from the passenger version of the 767-300ER, which ANA first received on June 16, 2008, and started operating on July 1 of the same year.
ANA announced the retirement of three 767 freighters in March of this year, with JA8358 and JA8664 retiring and leaving Japan by September. Although JA8323 was initially scheduled to end its operations on August 28, it temporarily returned to service for sale timing adjustments, with its last flight being NH8490 from Guangzhou to Tokyo/Narita on October 31.
The ferry flight for the sale was flight NH9432 from Tokyo/Haneda to Victorville via Anchorage, departing from spot 703 at 4:21 PM and taking off from Runway C at 39 minutes past the hour. It was scheduled to arrive in Anchorage at 5:30 AM local time on the 12th. Departing the next day at 0:55 AM, it is expected to arrive at its final destination, Victorville, at 7:05 AM on the same day.
With JA8323’s departure, ANA’s domestically operated 767 freighters include four new 767-300Fs (JA601F, JA602F, JA604F, JA605F) and two 767-300BCFs (JA603A, JA8970), totaling six aircraft. Especially among the JA8000 series, JA8970 remains the last aircraft, including those operated by other companies.
