KNT-CT Holdings has announced its consolidated financial results for the first half of the fiscal year ending March 2025, recording a net profit of 2.52 billion yen.
The company reported total sales of 134.42 billion yen, an operating profit of 2.237 billion yen, and an ordinary profit of 2.586 billion yen. The operating profit has increased by 46.5% compared to the fiscal year 2018 before the outbreak of COVID-19, while total sales have decreased by 35.2%.
Domestic travel demand has leveled off, and despite the depreciating yen, overseas travel is recovering. Inbound tourism has significantly grown due to the continued decline of the yen and the rising demand for visiting Japan. The company has focused on selling dynamic package products for individual domestic travel and aimed to capture the demand from student groups for group travel.
