Asiana Airlines will reduce flights on the Sendai-Seoul/Incheon route starting January 2, 2025.
Currently, the airline operates one round trip per day, but from that date, flights on Thursdays and Saturdays will be canceled. The aircraft used will be the Airbus A321neo.
Although this route has been suspended since March 2020, it was serviced again with charter flights for the first time in approximately two years in March 2023. Regular operations resumed with three round trips per week starting April 28, 2023, increased to four round trips per week from October 29, and then to one round trip per day from January 2024.
