All Nippon Airways (ANA) has changed its checked baggage rules starting October 1.
For certain economy class fares, the free checked baggage allowance has been changed from “2 bags” to “1 bag”. This applies to journeys originating in Japan, with travels to North America, Hawaii, Asia, Oceania, Russia, and China affected starting October 1, and Europe, Middle East, and Africa starting November 1. The applicable fares for North America and Hawaii are the Economy Class ‘Light’ fares, and for other destinations, Economy Class ‘Light’ and ‘Value’ fares.
ANA has announced a revision of its international fares, introducing a ‘Basic’ fare option without checked baggage.
