Air India has started deploying the Airbus A350-900 on its Delhi-New York/John F. Kennedy route.
The configuration includes 28 business class seats in a ‘1-2-1’ arrangement, 24 premium economy seats in a ‘2-4-2’ arrangement, and 264 economy seats in a ‘3-4-3’ arrangement, totaling 316 seats. This marks the first time premium economy service is offered on this route.
From January 2, 2025, the same aircraft model will also be used on the Delhi-New York/Newark route, operating five round trips a week.
