United Airlines has commenced ticket sales for its Tokyo/Narita to Kaohsiung route.
The route will be inaugurated on July 11, 2025, and will operate one round trip daily throughout the year using Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The flight duration from Tokyo/Narita is 4 hours and 30 minutes, and from Kaohsiung, it is 3 hours and 50 minutes. The flight number will be the same as the Tokyo/Narita to San Francisco route.
This route is also operated by China Airlines, EVA Air, Tigerair Taiwan, and Thai AirAsia. It provides one-stop access from various locations in the United States and complements the San Francisco to Taipei/Taoyuan route.
Additionally, United Airlines has announced that for the summer 2025 schedule, it will inaugurate year-round operations on the Tokyo/Narita to Koror route and seasonal operations on the Tokyo/Narita to Ulaanbaatar route.
Currently, United Airlines operates eight routes out of Tokyo/Narita, including to Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York/Newark, Guam, Saipan, and Cebu.
