Tokyu Stay Introduces ‘Ekiben Onigiri’ for Breakfast at Six Facilities in Tokyo
Tokyu Stay is set to sequentially introduce ‘Ekiben Onigiri’ from the frozen food brand ‘Jikuu Shokudo’, sold by Shingi, at six of its facilities in Tokyo starting November 19.
Two types of ‘Ekiben Onigiri’ will be offered, served with GREEN SPOON’s ‘Gorouma Vegetable Soup’. Guests can enjoy the taste of ekiben (station bento) simply by warming it up in the microwaves available in guest rooms or common areas. Furthermore, thanks to the frozen preservation, it’s possible to eat them beyond breakfast time. Compared to traditional Japanese bento that had a set serving time, these have a longer shelf life, enabling consumption whenever desired, thus contributing to the reduction of food waste.
The facilities offering this service include Tokyu Stay Ikebukuro, Tokyu Stay Nihonbashi, Tokyu Stay Monzen-Nakacho, Tokyu Stay Shibuya, Tokyu Stay Shibuya Shin-Minamiguchi, and Tokyu Stay Kamata.
