Delta Airlines to Launch Seasonal Scheduled Flights from New York/JFK to Lagos Starting December 1
Delta Airlines will launch flights connecting New York/John F. Kennedy and Lagos on December 1.
The route will operate daily until February 2025. In March, flights from New York/John F. Kennedy will run on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, while flights from Lagos will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, totalling three weekly round trips. This seasonal scheduled operation will continue until March 28, 2025, in line with high travel demand during the season.
The flights will utilize an Airbus A330-200 aircraft outfitted with 34 Delta One seats, 21 Delta Premium Select seats, 24 Delta Comfort Plus seats, and 144 Main Cabin seats, totaling 223 seats. The flight duration will be approximately 10 hours and 5 minutes from New York/John F. Kennedy, and 12 hours and 5 minutes from Lagos.
This service is expected to expand travel options for Nigerians living in Chicago, Maryland, Virginia, Washington, and New York.
