Japan Hotel & Residential Investment Corporation is introducing a unitholder preferential treatment system.
This system, offered by APA Holdings and its subsidiaries, awards points for use at hotels operated or franchised by APA Hotel, based on the number of investment units held. For holdings of 9 units or less, 500 points are awarded per unit; for those holding 10 units or more, a flat rate of 5,000 points is awarded.
Unitholders as of the fiscal year-end in November will receive a guide with a QR code for accessing the dedicated point awarding site by mail in mid-February of the following year, and those as of the fiscal year-end in May will receive it in mid-August.
Up to 1,000 points can be used per night. Unlike regular points, these cannot be exchanged for cash or goods.
