JR Kyushu will be selling the “Kids Adventure Ticket” for elementary school children from November 24 to January 6, 2025.
This ticket offers unlimited rides for a day on JR Kyushu’s local and rapid trains, and with the purchase of an additional limited express ticket, it can also be used on the Shinkansen, D&S trains, and limited express trains. The ticket must be purchased by the day before its use, and is valid from December 24 to January 7.
The price is 100 yen, and tickets will be sold on the JR Kyushu website and at designated ticket vending machines. The free pass does not cover non-JR Kyushu areas, such as the Sanyo Shinkansen between Kokura and Hakata stations, and the Fukuoka City Subway.
