Hoshino Resorts Tomamu Offers ‘Ski-In Ski-Out Kotatsu Lounge’ for Oden Enjoyment
Hoshino Resorts Tomamu will be hosting the ‘Ski-In Ski-Out Kotatsu Lounge’, where you can enjoy oden prepared in kelp broth while staying warm under a kotatsu, from December 26th to March 31st, 2025.
The kotatsu will be set up on the open terrace along Hotaru Street, and lights will be installed. Because it is located halfway down the slopes, guests can ski or snowboard right up to the front of the store. The ‘Oden Bar’ offers oden skewers made with seafood and wild vegetables and a selection of alcoholic beverages including sake, wine, and beer from Hokkaido. You can order skewers starting from one piece, which include a variety of combinations such as seafood including shrimp, salmon, cod, and octopus with wild vegetables like butterbur and bamboo shoots. The ‘Special Oden Pot’ is a hot pot dish featuring seafood such as crab and shrimp, and wild vegetables like butterbur and bamboo shoots, served with accompaniments such as salmon roe, crab miso, wild wasabi, and yuzu miso.
The location is inside Hotaru Street’s cafe & bar ‘Tsukino’. Open from noon to 7 PM, with the Oden Bar starting from 5 PM. Both staying and day-trip guests can enjoy the offerings. Prices are 700 yen for various oden skewers, 600 yen for various sake, 900 yen for various wines, 800 yen for various beers, and 6,000 yen for the Special Oden Pot, all prices include tax.
