Atarayo Nishiizu has changed the hot spring water in all 15 of its open-air bath-equipped guest rooms to be directly sourced from the spring as of October.
The source temperature of the Toi hot springs is about 57 degrees Celsius, which becomes an appropriate temperature by the time it flows into the open-air baths, allowing guests to enjoy the water’s quality without the need for additional heating or water. The water is a calcium sodium sulfate chloride spring. In addition, the dining area, which serves meals, has expanded its live kitchen area. Events such as a fish filleting show by a Japanese cuisine chef are planned.
