Earthquake Disaster Prevention Drill to be Held at Narita Airport on December 6
Narita International Airport, in collaboration with Japan Airlines (JAL) and Keio University, will conduct an earthquake disaster prevention drill on December 6.
Under the supervision of Associate Professor Seiko Ohki from Keio University’s Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, who specializes in seismology, disaster information, and disaster prevention education, the drill will simulate an evacuation within the airport in the event of a seismic intensity of over 6 strong.
The drill will take place from 2:00 PM to 2:20 PM on December 6, in Terminal 2. Participants will include 60 airport staff, including members of the JAL Group, and about 40 students from the Seiko Ohki Research Group.
