North Atlantic Airways has signed a letter of intent for the wet lease of six Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
The agreement is subject to internal approval, final agreement, and regulatory approval. The contract value is estimated at $462 million, with the possibility of being extended subject to regulatory approval. The lessor is referred to as a ‘reputable international airline’.
The plan is to deploy two aircraft in February 2025 and four aircraft in September of the same year, making a total of six aircraft. There is a possibility of receiving additional payments if the block time per aircraft exceeds 350 hours.
