Solaseed Air has announced its financial results for the mid-term of the fiscal year ending March 2025. The company reported a net loss of 64 million yen.
Operating revenue was 24.519 billion yen, operating expenses amounted to 25.614 billion yen, resulting in an operating loss of 1.95 billion yen, and an ordinary loss of 1.82 billion yen.
As a result of fare initiatives, meticulous yield control, and various promotional activities including a partnership with Hinatazaka46, both the number of passengers and passenger revenue reached record highs. However, the company faced significant challenges due to the sharp rise in maintenance and aircraft leasing costs related to the yen’s depreciation and inflation, persistently high crude oil prices, and increased competition.
The company has revised its full-year earnings forecast downward, expecting operating revenue of 52.8 billion yen and operating profit of 500 million yen, with ordinary profit projected at 300 million yen.
