Hotel New Otani Tokyo is offering a new afternoon tea set, ‘Strawberry & Amaou’, from December 1st until March 31st, 2025.
The top tier of the three-tiered afternoon tea set includes a ‘Super Melon Shortcake’ using Shizuoka-grown muskmelons with a sugar content of over 14 degrees, and a ‘Super Mont Blanc’ with carefully selected Japanese chestnut maron paste (which will be replaced with a new Mont Blanc from January 4th). The middle tier features a moist ‘Basque Cheesecake’, a ‘Strawberry Tart’ topped with fresh strawberries, a ‘Raspberry Macaron’, and an ‘Amaou Macaron’ that release their fragrance with every bite. The bottom tier offers several items including a ‘Fruit Sandwich’ with seasonal fresh fruits, and an ‘Amaou Scone’.
The location is the Tea & Cocktail ‘Garden Lounge’. Available from 3:15 PM to 6 PM with a two-hour limit. Reservations required via the website at least two days in advance. Excluded dates are December 20th to 25th and December 30th to January 3rd. The price is 8,000 yen, tax included, service charge not included.
