Conrad Tokyo Hosts ‘Strawberry Afternoon Tea Celebration’
Conrad Tokyo will offer the ‘Strawberry Afternoon Tea Celebration,’ using various Japanese-grown strawberries such as ‘Amaou’, ‘Migaki Ichigo’, and ‘Tochiaika’, from December 26th to February 28th, 2025.
The menu includes five types of sweets like ‘Caramel and Lemon Tart’ decorated with Migaki Ichigo on layers of caramel and lemon cream, ‘Amaou Macaron Tart’ surrounded by chocolate ganache, Amaou, and blueberries, ‘Strawberry and Elderflower Jelly’ layered with strawberry jelly, vanilla panna cotta, and strawberry and elderflower jelly, in addition to three savory dishes: ‘Crab Tartare and Broccoli Mousse’, ‘Scallop and Salmon Mousse’, and a yuzu-flavored tartare of lobster sandwiched in brioche as ‘Lobster Sandwich’. Scones are available in plain and caramel, served with clotted cream and strawberry jam.
The venue is the Bar & Lounge ‘TwentyEight’. Available from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in 2-hour slots. Prices start from 7,900 yen, including tax and service charge. There are plans that include a Conrad Bear or a celebratory champagne toast, and from February, a plan that allows purchase of an original Conrad Tokyo Rose Basket will also be available. Additionally, a ‘Strawberry Night Tea’ will be offered from 6:30 p.m. during the same period.
