IHG Celebrates 60 Years in Japan with Special Promotions Until December 31
IHG Hotels & Resorts is celebrating its 60th anniversary of entering Japan with promotions running until December 31.
It includes promotional offers such as accommodation plans and special bonus point offers exclusive for members at participating hotels in Japan and Micronesia.
At five hotels, a “Diamond Celebration Plan” themed around the 60th anniversary is available. For example, the InterContinental Hotel Osaka offers a special plan including a two-night stay in a one-bedroom suite (with club lounge access), complimentary transportation, dinner at “NOKA” (with free-flow drinks), an aperitif at “adee”, dinner for two at the Michelin-starred restaurant “Pierre” including rare wine pairing, and a 120-minute spa treatment for two.
Nineteen hotels across the country offer special direct-booking-only plans, including the use of the club lounge and restaurant credits.
Additionally, an exclusive offer via the official app grants 6,000 bonus points as part of the “6,000 Bonus Points Offer” for IHG One Rewards members.
IHG Hotels & Resorts first entered Japan in 1964. In 1973, it opened the first Holiday Inn outside the United States in Kyoto, and in 2006, it formed a partnership with All Nippon Airways (ANA). Currently, it operates 47 hotels in Japan.
