Malaysia Airlines Resumes Flights to Kolkata Starting December 2nd with Five Weekly Round Trips
Malaysia Airlines has resumed operations of its Kuala Lumpur-Kolkata route starting December 2nd.
Flights from Kuala Lumpur are scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, while flights from Kolkata are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, making it five round trips per week. The service utilizes Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with a flight duration of 4 hours and 5 minutes for both departure and return.
In celebration of the inaugural flight from Kuala Lumpur, passengers were given travel pouches, and a photo booth was set up. The seat occupancy rate reached 93%.
This expansion brings Malaysia Airlines’ network in India to include Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Amritsar, Thiruvananthapuram, and Ahmedabad, totaling 10 destinations. Furthermore, in collaboration with IndiGo, the network will extend to 16 cities across India.
