Seven-Eleven and Keio Start Rail-Based Deliveries to Station Convenience Stores
Seven-Eleven Japan and Keio Transportation have announced the commencement of a demonstration experiment for rail-based product deliveries to Seven-Eleven stores located within Keio railway stations, starting December 10.
The stores involved in this trial are managed by Keio Store and are located at Takaido, Kugayama, and Kichijoji stations on the Keio Inokashira Line. Keio Transportation’s delivery staff will load the products onto a train at Eifukucho station and unload them at the above-mentioned three stations for delivery. The trial will initially focus on chilled products, with plans to consider expanding the range of products covered in the future.
