Korean Air has installed aircraft mirrors produced by Kommy in the galleys of all its aircraft.
Since 2012, Korean Air has been equipping its cabin luggage compartments with Kommy-produced mirrors. It was discovered through interviews that cabin crew were performing their duties in awkward positions to visually check the contents of the overhead lockers in the galleys. Following various proposals from Kommy and after verification of visibility, the mirrors were adopted.
According to Kommy, although there were precedents for delivering cabin visibility mirrors, this delivery developed a new application for them. It is noted that there were no previous instances of implementing a full-scale solution for necessary overhead lockers across all owned aircraft.
