‘FAV LUX Kagoshima Tenmonkan’ opens on December 13

Under the umbrella of Kasumigaseki Capital, the fav hospitality group has launched its upper-line brand ‘FAV LUX Kagoshima Tenmonkan’ on December 13.

The hotel offers 63 rooms in 11 different types, including suites with a private sauna ‘SAUNAGE’, equipped with a chiller and overhead shower. The rooms are designed with a nude color base, complemented by wooden tone furniture and orange chairs, providing a stunning view of Sakurajima and Kagoshima Bay from the windows.

The facility boasts two types of private saunas inspired by Kagoshima’s culture and history. They offer a Finland-style sauna using artificial stone called “Kerkes Stone” developed specifically for saunas, and a hybrid sauna with heaters under the benches, along with a cold-water bath 90 cm deep and a terrace for outdoor cooling. The first private sauna ‘Sakurajima’ features a ‘black’ theme, reflecting the strength of Sakurajima and Saigo Takamori, while the second private sauna ‘Kirishima’ is inspired by Kagoshima Bay, with a gradient from blue-grey to deep blue.

The main dining area, a rooftop bar & bistro named ‘THE ROOF’, is available from morning until dinner exclusively for guests, offering meals and cocktails made from locally sourced ingredients from Kagoshima Prefecture.
