JR East and JR West announced that with the timetable revision on March 15, 2025, the Hokuriku Shinkansen will add two additional “Kagayaki” services, one in each direction.
From Tokyo Station, the added trains are the “Kagayaki 545” departing at 6:24 AM and the “Kagayaki 537” departing at 5:48 PM, both headed for Kanazawa Station. From Kanazawa Station, the “Kagayaki 592” to Ueno Station leaves at 5:49 PM, and the “Kagayaki 546” to Tokyo Station departs at 9:06 PM.
The “Kagayaki 546” will leave Kanazawa and Toyama Stations three minutes later than the current last train to Tokyo Station, “Kagayaki 518”. The operating days for the additional services will be announced later.
