Air New Zealand is calling for the person who distributed Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) to travelers at Auckland Airport on December 11 to come forward.
Due to a disruption that occurred that morning, at least 12 flights were delayed, according to the New Zealand Herald. Air New Zealand stated, “A legendary nameless individual, seeing hungry passengers waiting for their flights, rushed with a KFC ‘big feed,’ spreading delicious joy amongst the people,” and thus hailed the ‘Mystery Chicken Champion.’
In collaboration with KFC, Air New Zealand is offering domestic round-trip airfares to the person’s favorite KFC outlet across New Zealand and KFC vouchers worth 500NZ dollars. The airline is asking for assistance from passengers and the broader community to identify this individual.
