Pegasus Airlines has announced the introduction of up to 200 Boeing 737-10 aircraft.
The breakdown includes 100 firm orders and 100 options, with deliveries starting from 2028. This order is the largest in the company’s history. The options may be converted into additional orders based on market trends and aircraft needs over the coming years. The aim is to strengthen and modernize the single-aisle fleet, with the potential of opening new routes to Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa.
The Boeing 737-10 can accommodate up to 230 seats and has a maximum range of 5,740 kilometers. It is capable of reducing fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions by 20% compared to the prior generation.
Pegasus Airlines was established in 1990 and was acquired by ESAS Holdings in 2005. Operating as a low-cost carrier (LCC), it serves 144 destinations in 53 countries.
